The start of 2027 and the World Handball Championship.

Germany awaits us in January 2027, specifically from January 13 to 31. As the host nation, the country will see matches played in the cities of Munich, Stuttgart, Cologne, Kiel, Hanover, and Magdeburg.

Munich will host the teams from Group A (Germany, Tunisia, Serbia, and Uruguay) and Group C (Croatia, Spain, Turkey, and Chile).

Stuttgart and the Porsche Arena will host Group D, featuring Argentina, France, Brazil, and Kuwait. Meanwhile, Group B will see Egypt, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and Cape Verde face off.

Further north, in Kiel, teams from Groups G and E will compete. Group E consists of Sweden, Greece, Norway, and Qatar, while Group G includes Slovenia, Denmark, the USA, and Angola.

To conclude this initial preliminary group phase, Magdeburg will host Group F matches featuring Portugal, Poland, Algeria, and the Faroe Islands. Group H will feature Iceland, North Macedonia, Bahrain, and Japan.

The top three teams from each group will advance to the tournament's "Main Round," with matches held in Cologne and Hanover.

The knockout stage, from the quarter-finals through to the final, will take place in Cologne at the famous Lanxess Arena. Germany is easily accessible and, during this period, is packed with Bundesliga and European Cup matches. The challenge will be making a choice, but what a pleasure it is to have that choice.

An important detail: during the first group stage, matches will be played in pairs each day at 18:00 and 20:30; your tickets therefore cover two matches. The second group stage will feature three matches per day on a single ticket, with start times of 15:30, 18:00, and 20:30.
